Matthew Saville
Matthew Saville is an award-winning writer, director and actor. Though he graduated with a degree in acting from Toi Whakaaari, New Zealand Drama School, it was directing that really sparked Matt’s passion.
Matt's directorial debut - short film Hitch Hike - thumbed its way to festivals all around the world and the multi-award winning Dive, premiered at the prestigious Telluride Film Festival. Both short films have garnered millions of views online.
In 2021 he wrote and directed his first feature film Juniper, starring Academy Award nominee Charlotte Rampling. Along with a strong festival run, Juniper played theatrically worldwide in multiple territories including the UK, Scandinavia and Australia, the USA and Canada.
