Matt Heath
Matt Heath has had a rich career as a broadcaster, sports commentator, actor, producer, columnist, musician and author. You might remember him from cult television hit show The Back of The Y or feature film The Devil Dared Me To, but he is probably best known for his 13 year stint on the breakfast show for Radio Hauraki and now as the co-host of “Afternoons” on Newstalk ZB.
He was the lead singer and guitarist for the band Deja Voodoo for many years, worked on a number of shows for MTV2 (UK) and recently appeared regularly on the revamped Game of Two Halves for Sky Television. He was a columnist for the NZ Herald for 10 years, has authored a cookbook, and runs the motion graphics company Vinewood Animation Studios.
Even with this full plate, Matt works regularly as a corporate MC and Speaker, he continues to provide engaging and irreverent sports commentary for the highly successful Alternative Commentary Collective, and last year released his book “A Life Less Punishing”.
