Hayley Holt

Hayley Holt is one of New Zealand’s most versatile and engaging television presenters, known for her natural on-screen presence, honest voice, energy and professionalism.
She first gained national attention as a professional snowboarder and ballroom dancer before moving into television with standout roles on Dancing with the Stars and The Crowd Goes Wild. She went on to win Treasure Island: Pirates of the Pacific, contribute political insight on Back Benches, and served as co-host on More FM’s coveted Breakfast slot.
Hayley became a household name as co-host of TVNZ’s Breakfast, where she interviewed leading figures and covered breaking news, before a move to prime time as 1 News’ Sports Presenter further cemented her as a trusted broadcaster, eventually seeing her take out the fan-voted Television Personality of the Year award at the 2018 NZ Television Awards.
In 2023, she released her memoir Second Chances, a candid and inspiring account of addiction, grief, and motherhood. The book resonated deeply across Aotearoa and marked her emergence as a passionate advocate for mental health and resilience.
