James Mustapic
James Mustapic is an award-winning New Zealand comedian, recognised as Best Newcomer at The NZ International Comedy Festival and Outstanding Emerging Talent at the Dunedin Fringe Festival in 2018. He has since been nominated twice for the prestigious Billy T Award by The NZ International Comedy Festival and acknowledged by the NZ Comedy Guild for his work.
James began his comedy career with the online undergound sensation Shorty Street Scandal in 2014, and ventured into stand-up comedy in 2015. He is now well-known in New Zealand for his hit TVNZ+ series Abandonment Issues and James Mustapick His Mum a Man, as well as his web series Repressed Memories. He maintains a regular presence on the NZ comedy circuit and has appeared on numerous TV comedy panel shows, including Have You Been Paying Attention, 7 Days, and Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee.
Known for sharing unapologetic stories of people who have wronged him, James candidly expresses his emotions in a self-deprecating manner. He deftly treads the line between polite and sweet, and downright risky.
