Charde Heremaia

Chardé (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāi Tahu) is a social media star, comedian and entrepreneur.
Beginning her comedy journey at the age of 16, she started the popular Facebook page, Memoirs of a Māori portraying a variety of characters in relatable comedy skits that attract millions of views on social media.
In 2022, she performed her first official stand up set to a sold-out crowd made up largely of her social media supporters. The transition from online comedy to live shows was well received, earning her spots on pro line-ups and winning awards at The Auckland Fringe Festival during her first year on the circuit.
Outside of the entertainment industry, Chardé is an entrepreneur with a successful e-commerce clothing brand and is an accomplished goalkeeper in the New Zealand Football National League.
