Andi Crown

Since getting her first taste of Shakespeare over 25 years ago, Andi Crown has been a regular performer on both stage and screen. With abilities that span from the comedic to the dramatic Andi is an expert at crafting truthful characters that range from the hilarious to the tragic.

Theatrical highlights include a spectaclur turn in Auckland Theatre Company’s production of August: Osage County; an effortlessly ghastly portrayal of Beverly Moss in Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party; and more recently nimbly showing us the loathsome tendencies of Goneril in Auckland Theatre Company’s King Lear.

On the small screen you may have caught her in internationally successful shows The Brokenwood Mysteries, Wellington Paranormal and The Gulf; and in series regular roles on local production Head High, and Peacock/Netflix series One of Us is Lying.

Andi also has an MA in Pacific Archaeology and worked in the field for seven years before becoming a freelance performing arts photographer. As one of the industry's most sought after photographers you will regularly find her shooting headshots for professional actors, or stills for our most prominent theatrical and televison productions.
